Who Is She?
— About
Director, Writer, Performer, Visionary, Rebel, Weirdo.
Born on October 9th 1996 in Atlanta Georgia, Kaylee Jade Warfield grew up with her mom, dad, and brother in Alpharetta Georgia. As a biracial child growing up in the south, it was difficult for Kaylee to find her tribe, and in doing so, focus on her purpose. She was constantly put in the face of adversity during her teenage years, but her north star was the performing arts. It was clear that creating worlds and telling stories was her gift.
In 2019, she graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelors degree in Theatre and Creative Writing, with a focus on Film and Media. All during those years, she interned for major companies like Revolt TV in New York and Film 44 in Los Angeles. Kaylee moved to the city of Atlanta after graduation and quickly started working in the film and television industry. Her resume includes previous work on “GENIUS Aretha” and “Spider Man: No Way Home”. At 26 years old, she recently finished the role of a Showrunners assistant on National Geographic’s “GENIUS MLKX”.
Kaylee Jade sees herself as the next Issa Rae meets Donald Glover with a little Beyonce. Currently, she is crowd fundraising for her upcoming short film, “WAKE UP” — a sci-fi fantasy drama about a struggling artist who must find balance between her dreams and her reality by overcoming her fear of failure. Kaylee’s passion is to use her unique voice and tenacious spirit to tell radical stories that provide colorful truths in marginalized communities. It is her vow to as a storyteller to do so with honesty, positivity, and beauty.
